Many churches and ministries applied for and were approved to receive Payroll Protection Program (PPP) funding to continuing paying their employees during the COVID-19 crisis. Some churches and ministries, however, have not received funding due to allocations running out within just two weeks of being made available.

The Senate and House recently passed a bill, signed by the president, to provide an additional $310 billion for the PPP, $60 billion for a separate small business emergency loan and grant program, $75 billion for hospitals and health-care providers, and $25 billion for a new coronavirus testing program. This is an unprecedented amount of money allocated toward small businesses.

If your ministry or church applied for PPP funding and was denied, there is now additional funding available. You will want to contact your bank to ensure it is putting your application through as soon as possible. If you are having difficulties securing the support of your bank, please contact our office, and we will assist you with the process.
