Locked Out of Their Own Ministry
Monday morning started like any other until the church staff realized they could no longer access their own systems.
The accounting software was locked. The donor database was inaccessible. Even email accounts and online giving tools had been taken over. A former employee who had recently left the ministry still controlled the passwords and refused to turn them over.
What began as a personnel issue quickly became a ministry crisis. Staff could not do their jobs, financial records were out of reach, and the church had no clear way to regain control of its own information.
